Claudia Benton, a 39-year-old female pediatric geneticist and researcher of Peruvian descent, was brutally murdered in her home in West University Place, Texas, on December 16, 1998. Claudia was alone in her residence, as her husband George Benton and their twin daughters were visiting relatives in Arizona.
