Death by Force

On May 19, 2023, at approximately 10:10 a.m., Houston police responded to a shooting at the Scottish Inn & Suites located at 9610 West Sam Houston Parkway South. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Candeese Jenkins in the front office, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was immediately transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
