Rod Bramblett, the esteemed "Voice of the Auburn Tigers," and his wife, Paula, tragically lost their lives in a vehicular accident on May 25, 2019, in Auburn, Alabama. The couple's SUV was rear-ended by a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 16-year-old Johnston Edward Taylor. Investigations revealed that Taylor was traveling between 89 and 91 mph in a 55 mph zone and had THC, the psychoactive component of marijuana, in his system at the time of the crash.
