In the summer of 2016, a day of play ended in unimaginable tragedy for a family in Birmingham, Alabama. On July 31, 10-year-old Jordan Gray, a Black/African American male, was inside a Homewood apartment when his life was cut short. He was with his cousin, and the two had come across a gun.
