On July 31, 2016, 10-year-old Jordan Gray was fatally shot at an apartment complex in Homewood, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. Jordan was spending the summer with his father at the complex when the incident occurred. The shooting resulted in a head injury that led to his death.
