On October 11, 2008, at approximately 3:30 AM, Denise Phillips, aged 27, was tragically shot and killed in front of 1611 17th Street, SE, Washington, D.C. The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation, with authorities seeking assistance from the public to help solve the case.
