On August 17, 2016, 50-year-old Glenn Hardy, a well-known businessman in Midfield, Alabama, was found deceased inside the Coram Wholesale Used Tire building on Bessemer Super Highway. Hardy, who owned and operated the Glenn Hardy Hair Institute, was discovered by a friend around 7:40 a.m. He had been shot multiple times, and his champagne-colored 1999 Chevrolet C1500 truck was missing from the scene.
