On December 14, 2016, 37-year-old Constance "Connie" Leigh Woolweaver was found deceased in her Highland Lakes home in Birmingham, Alabama. Her 13-year-old son discovered her body upon returning from school, prompting immediate notification of authorities. Investigators determined that Woolweaver had been shot multiple times, including a fatal wound to the head.
