On February 8, 2017, 31-year-old De Ijiroa Yasmon Brown was fatally shot in an alley off 30th Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident was part of a series of violent events that day, including the shooting death of Justin Lamar Milliner and the wounding of two others at the El Morado Apartments on Princeton Avenue Southwest.
