Jaylan JaBez Ben

In the early morning hours of a Monday in Abbeville, Louisiana, a grim discovery was made in a rural area south of the city. A young man, later identified as 18-year-old Jaylan JaBez Ben, had been shot and left for dead, thrown from a moving vehicle near Queens Ranch Road. When Vermilion Parish sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a body found, they arrived to find that the male victim was still alive, though severely wounded with multiple gunshot wounds.
