Emmitt L. Perry, a 72-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Abbeville, Louisiana, tragically passed away on April 2, 2020. He was one of two victims shot in the 300 block of Dutel Street in Abbeville. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., and while one victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Perry succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
