Roland Bernard Jr., a 52-year-old African American man from Abbeville, Louisiana, tragically died on November 5, 2020. He was shot multiple times in his driveway shortly after returning home from a night out with his fiancé, Chloe Augustus. Bernard was shot in the head, chest, and arm, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at Abbeville General Hospital.
