In the early morning hours of April 17, 2018, the life of 38-year-old Douglas Anthony Bourque, a male resident of Kaplan, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Abbeville police officers responded to a call of shots fired around 2 a.m. in the vicinity of Graceland Avenue and Hawthorne Street. Upon their initial search, nothing was found.
