James Jerome Darby, a 29-year-old African American male from Abbeville, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on May 3, 2020. Darby was found inside a vehicle on Dutel Street in Abbeville, shortly after 10:25 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Vermilion Parish Coroner.
