On February 23, 2017, 56-year-old Elvis Finley was fatally shot in Anniston, Alabama. Originally from LaFayette, Alabama, Finley was in Anniston at the time of the incident.
Following his death, Finley's funeral services were held on March 2, 2017, at Sardis Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Alabama, with Reverend Dexter Foreman officiating. He was laid to rest in Sardis Cemetery in Camp Hill.
