On December 18, 2022, at approximately 3:45 a.m., Anniston Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible gunshot victim in the 4500 block of Sprague Avenue in Anniston, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Jacoby D. White suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts by Anniston Fire Department medics, White succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
