On a spring day in Montgomery, Alabama, a young man's life was tragically cut short. Jeremiah Roderick McDade, a 20-year-old Black male, was visiting the city with plans to start a new job and spend the summer working. On the morning of May 12, 2017, he had a conversation with his mother, expressing his love for his girlfriend and son. Hours later, he was fatally shot multiple times in the 4300 block of Woodley Square.
