On November 27, 2024, 23-year-old Montgomery resident Nickqurious Hooks was discovered with critical gunshot wounds on Harris Street following reports of a shooting. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later, on November 29, 2024.
