Misty Sheffield Martinez, a 41-year-old female, tragically lost her life on May 21, 2017, in Bessemer, Alabama. She was shot to death during an attempted carjacking on the 1200 block of Kelly Street. The driver of the vehicle she was riding in was also shot but survived the attack. The driver later identified the shooter as Madarius Warren.
