On a day meant for celebration and family, tragedy struck a large Easter gathering in Bessemer, Alabama. On the evening of April 4, 2021, gunfire erupted, shattering the festive atmosphere and leaving two young people dead. Kamisha Malea Davis, a 27-year-old woman, and Kendrick Felix Morrisette, 22, were both fatally wounded in the shooting.
