On November 21, 2019, at approximately 4:30 p.m., 22-year-old Jekeria Jaquay Osborn and 27-year-old D'Andre Jamal Paige were fatally shot while inside their vehicle at the intersection of I-59/20 and Alabama Adventure Parkway in Bessemer, Alabama. According to Bessemer Police Detective Kendra Ward, the couple was targeted when a suspect vehicle drove by and opened fire.
