On April 28, 2022, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 1800 block of Berkley Avenue in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident resulted in the death of 23-year-old Johnnae Shy'Ann Fuller and left three others injured. Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene, while the injured individuals were transported to local hospitals; one sustained life-threatening injuries, and the other two were reported in stable condition.
