In the early morning hours of the Fourth of July in 2009, a young man’s life was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. Twenty-one-year-old Marcus Brinkley, a male, was found murdered at approximately 2:58 a.m. in front of a residence at 2018 3rd Street, NE. The holiday, a time of celebration for many, became a day of mourning for the family and friends of the young man.
