In the early morning hours, a 47-year-old woman named Margarita Gonzalez-Almazan vanished from her home in Bluffton, South Carolina. The last time she was seen was after attending a birthday party for her grandson. A dispute with her boyfriend, Osman Galicia-Escobedo, appears to have preceded her disappearance. Relatives who went to her apartment later found it empty, with two unfinished plates of food in the kitchen and a smashed television remote, suggesting a disturbance had occurred.
