Lisa Marie Shuttleworth, a 34-year-old mother of two, disappeared from Beech Island, South Carolina, on September 4, 2003. On the morning of her disappearance, Lisa spoke to her daughter around 7:00 a.m. and mentioned she would be home later to pick up her son from the bus stop. At around 8:00 a.m., an acquaintance saw her sitting in a borrowed car, a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am, at a gas station, seemingly reading a newspaper with the engine running.
