On August 15, 2015, Trey Brenon Pritchard, a 46-year-old White male, was fatally shot while off duty in Midwest City, Oklahoma. A lieutenant with the Sapulpa Police Department, Pritchard had accompanied his cousin, Jeffrey Grafton, to the Travelers Inn. They were there to retrieve a pickup truck that Grafton's son, Jonathan Grafton, had taken without permission.
