On July 14, 2017, 25-year-old Ezekiel Briggs was fatally shot in Huntsville, Alabama. The incident occurred shortly before midnight in the 2400 block of Old Blue Springs Road. Upon arrival, Huntsville Police officers found Briggs deceased from a gunshot wound. Investigations revealed that Briggs had been involved in a heated argument with 26-year-old Mondrel Kenee Ward prior to the shooting.
