On September 11, 2017, 77-year-old Mary Blevins was found with a gunshot wound in her mobile home at the Five Points Mobile Home Park on Windham Street in Huntsville, Alabama. Emergency responders transported her to Huntsville Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
