On June 19, 2018, Huntsville police responded to a call from a concerned relative reporting two deceased individuals at a residence on Knollbrook Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered three victims: 42-year-old Iris Koress Bynum, her 17-year-old daughter Heaven Hines, and 16-year-old Xzariah Rice. All three had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
