In the winter of 2023, a celebration of life turned into a scene of devastating loss in Huntsville, Alabama. Kaitlyn Inez Jenkins, a 20-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on January 7, 2023, during a mass shooting at a 21st birthday party.
