On November 6, 2017, 26-year-old Quinton Lee Sims was fatally shot at a residence on the 1000 block of Dartmouth Avenue in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. Authorities responded to the scene, and Sims was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
