On December 1, 2017, 39-year-old Cindy Darrington was fatally shot in a domestic dispute in Prichard, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:56 PM in the 200 block of North Fairport Drive, where police found Darrington deceased at the scene. She was a mother of three teenage sons and was known for her positive presence in the Gulf Village community, often working with The Light of the Village Church to assist those in need.
