On November 28, 2021, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a shooting incident in the 1800 block of Ogburn Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries. One of the victims, 29-year-old Quanita Fletcher, succumbed to her injuries, while the second victim, a 28-year-old woman, remained in critical condition.
