On December 4, 2017, 21-year-old LeQuinton Dontae' Porter, a resident of Headland, Alabama, was fatally shot in Dothan. The incident occurred late in the afternoon when Porter was outside a residence, and two individuals, 18-year-old Camerrien Walker and 29-year-old Andre Smith, were seated in a car nearby.
