On January 11, 2018, 31-year-old Felicia Antionette Fletcher was found deceased in her Birmingham, Alabama, apartment, the victim of an apparent murder-suicide. Authorities discovered her body alongside that of 28-year-old Lee Otis Farrow Hamilton in the Tom Brown Village housing project in North Avondale. Investigations indicated that Hamilton fatally shot Fletcher before taking his own life.
