On March 24, 2018, at approximately 1:07 AM, Opelika Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at BJ’s Lounge on Staley Avenue in Opelika, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers, along with Opelika Fire and Rescue and EAMC EMS, discovered 35-year-old Carnelious Richmond inside the lounge, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
