Death by Force

On the evening of October 5, 2024, a gathering in the Beauregard community of Lee County, Alabama, turned tragic when an argument escalated into a shooting. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. at a residence on Lee Road 11. During the altercation, 34-year-old Darrian Finley of Opelika was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene at 9:55 p.m. His body was subsequently transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery for a postmortem examination.
