On April 13, 2018, 35-year-old Ennon Hayden Jr. was fatally shot inside his parents' home in Hardaway, Alabama. At the time of the incident, Hayden was with his four-year-old child. Authorities believe he may have interrupted a burglary in progress. His sister discovered him and alerted their parents, who were attending a church conference in Birmingham.
