Breyuane Sanders, a 23-year-old African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on the night of December 1, 2016. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 800 block of Millard Fuller Road. Emergency responders, including the Montgomery Police Department and Fire Medics, arrived at the scene following reports of a shooting. Sanders was found inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to Baptist Medical Center South, where he was later pronounced dead.
