On April 26, 2018, in the Fosters area of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, 38-year-old Jacquire Lafayette Douglas was fatally shot. Authorities responded to a residence on Oak Harbor Way around 11:00 p.m., where they discovered Douglas deceased and a woman suffering from life-threatening injuries. The injured woman, identified as the estranged wife of 43-year-old Randy Britford, was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
