Death by Force

On June 10, 2018, at approximately 2:40 a.m., the University of North Alabama Police heard gunshots near the intersection of Westmorland and Long Lane in Florence, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Patton "Huggy" Shipley lying in the street. He was transported to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
