On May 22, 2019, 63-year-old Willie O'Neal Hollis was fatally shot in Florence, Alabama. The incident occurred late Wednesday night on Blair Street, where Florence police responded around 10:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Hollis suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
