Morris Timothy Holmes, a 49-year-old man from Seven Springs, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on March 29, 2015. Holmes was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital following an assault at his residence on 113 Al Drive. According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Holmes was stabbed during the incident. The authorities responded to the scene around 6 a.m. and found Holmes in critical condition. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
