In the summer of 2018, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Phenix City, Alabama evening, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. The victim was 24-year-old Kamarcus Thomas, a male resident of the city. On July 3rd, first responders were called to Gateway Drive where they found Thomas suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
