In the early hours of July 17, 2018, 40-year-old Dakisha Stutson was fatally shot at her residence in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. when Birmingham police responded to reports of gunfire at a home on 25th Court North. Upon arrival, officers discovered three victims: Dakisha, her 18-year-old son, Travon Stutson, and her boyfriend, Antwon Tremaine Charles.
