On December 10, 2020, one-year-old Kar'Mynn Brachelle Gaines of Birmingham, Alabama, succumbed to injuries sustained from blunt force trauma to the head. The incident occurred on November 17, 2020, in the 600 block of Carraway Boulevard. Emergency responders transported her to Children's Hospital, where she remained under medical care for over three weeks before passing away.
