On July 30, 2018, 22-year-old Jamar Jones was fatally shot in Anniston, Alabama. The incident occurred in the early morning hours on the 500 block of West 15th Street. Anniston Police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Jones with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
