On August 2, 2018, 36-year-old Cedrick Lipscomb was fatally shot in the driveway of a residence on Turtlehill Drive in northwest Madison County, Alabama. Emergency responders arrived around 9:30 a.m. to find Lipscomb deceased from gunshot wounds. Authorities identified 34-year-old Jumar Sims as a person of interest in the case.
