In the late summer of 2018, the life of 21-year-old Trendarius Hill was cut short by an act of gun violence in Selma, Alabama. On a Wednesday, September 5th, Hill succumbed to his injuries, passing away and leaving a community to grapple with the tragedy of a young life lost. The events that led to his death began two days prior, with a shooting that left him with a critical wound to the head.
