Kerry McClure, a 22-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on the evening of October 14, 2018, in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred near an apartment complex on the 200 block of 9th Court North in the Smithfield neighborhood. McClure had arrived at the location to drop off his children when an argument ensued between him and another individual.
