On May 26, 2019, in Elmore County, Alabama, 52-year-old Andrea Reeves was fatally shot by her husband, Willie Reeves, during a gathering at their home on Lucky Town Loop. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Witnesses reported that the couple engaged in an argument, during which Andrea accused Willie of infidelity. The confrontation escalated, leading Willie to shoot Andrea in the head with a .223 caliber AR-15 rifle.
