On a Sunday evening in May 2019, amidst a party with a large crowd and music at their home on Lucky Town Loop Road in Elmore County, a heated argument erupted between 52-year-old Andrea Reeves and her husband, Willie Reeves. The dispute, reportedly sparked by Andrea confronting her husband about an extra-marital affair, tragically escalated. Friends who went into the house after the argument found Andrea on the floor of the master bathroom, having sustained a single gunshot wound to the head
from a rifle.
Willie Reeves, who was 51 at the time, was found sitting in the bedroom and was arrested at the scene without incident. Despite his initial lack of cooperation with authorities, witness accounts provided investigators with information about the fatal shooting. The Elmore County Sheriff's Office investigated the case, which was noted as the first murder in the county for 2019.
Willie Reeves was charged with the murder of his wife. During his trial, testimony revealed the argument over the affair that preceded the shooting.
